Julian Calendar

A Roman calendar introduced in 46 BC by Roman Emperor Julius Caesar. The calendar contains 365 days divided into 12 months with a leap year day every four years in February. Its successor, the Gregorian Calendar, was first introduced in 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII and is today the world's most widely used calendar.
